Head of Content (BNF and BNFC)
Salary: £70,000
Location: London
BNF and BNF for Children (BNFC) provide health professionals with trusted, evidence-based and up-to-date information about the use of drugs. The Head of Content (BNF and BNFC) is responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of the content within the BNF and BNFC, driving the strategic direction of the content, ensuring that it meets the requirements of users and the healthcare system.
About the role:
- Develop and implement strategic content plans in collaboration with senior leaders
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners and advisory committees
- Ensure content quality, clinical relevance, and operational efficiency
- Contribute to product development and innovation across point-of-care information services
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary editorial team who create the content, creating a focus on content quality and awareness of the external environment
Requirements:
- Degree in pharmacy, medicine, or a related clinical field with detailed pharmaceutical knowledge
- Proven editorial experience with clinical information
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of the health service with emphasis on the importance of BNF and BNFC content

How we are currently working:
RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home; however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face- to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4–8 working days per month at our London Office.
