Service Desk Analyst
Salary: £25,000-£30,000
Location: London (2-3days per week on site)
Duration: 6 month contract
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) supports pharmacists in their education and development, promotes pharmacy in the media and government, and leads the way in medicines information across Great Britain and around the world.
The RPS is facing a significant period of change, with a review on its governance and structure well advanced. The RPS is seeking to become a charity, the Royal College of Pharmacy, with a wholly owned commercial subsidiary.
We are looking for a service desk analyst to join us to help continue the capability of RPS to deliver secure, compliant and up-to-date technology platforms, hardware and devices.
Main Accountabilities:
- Deliver 1st or 2nd line support as per SLAs and KPIs
- Classify and prioritise the service desk workload.
- Performing people service functions, including interacting with staff members, answering queries, and resolving issues.
- Assume technical responsibility for incidents, requests, and problems, conducting comprehensive diagnostics with end users to facilitate ticket resolution and project completion.
- Support the rollout and monitoring of endpoint devices and handsets.

How we are currently working
RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 8-12 working days per month at our London Office, or more frequently when required to support senior governance meetings.
