We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our Engineering Department, overseeing a team of engineers and testers driving continuous improvement, best practice and technical excellence.

Main Responsibilities of the Head of Engineering

• Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of up to c.20 members, driving their growth, development, and performance. This includes front-end, back-end and QA testers operating in an AWS cloud environment.
• You'll develop and implement software engineering strategies that closely align with our client's organisational goals, objectives and change developments.
• With an eye on project timelines and budgets, you'll ensure that deliverables are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Collaboration will be key as you work closely with other departments to ensure synergy and alignment across all projects.
• Supplier management of outsourced delivery partners, working closely to align standards and timescales.
• Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry standards will be essential to maintaining our client's competitive edge.
